Workplace Safety
Workplace Safety
Workplace safety protects employees, supports productivity, and reduces organizational risk. It relies on proper training, clear procedures, routine inspections, and compliance with standards such as those established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Effective programs identify hazards early and implement controls, including equipment maintenance and proper use of protective measures. When questions arise, our safety expert can help evaluate conditions, interpret standards, and provide clear, defensible insights.
CAPABILITIES
Our safety and litigation support services apply a technical, standards-based approach to evaluating workplace conditions, regulatory compliance, and incident causation. We assess a wide range of construction and industrial safety issues, including fall protection systems, trenching and excavation practices, and conditions on multi-employer jobsites. Our work also addresses ladder and stair use, electrical systems, chemical safety, and proper ingress and egress, with careful consideration of hazardous materials handling and exposure risks.
In addition, we evaluate the safety and compliance of scaffolds, concrete operations, steel erection, and demolition activities, as well as common hazards such as slips, trips, and falls. Our analyses extend to machine guarding, lockout/tagout (energy control) procedures, and welding operations, with a focus on whether appropriate safeguards were implemented and followed. All evaluations are performed in reference to applicable standards, including those established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and are supported by objective, evidence-based methodologies to deliver clear, defensible conclusions.
